Apart from the gothic district, this street, from Santa Maria del Mar to the surroundings of the Carrer de la Princesa, is one of the most beautiful in Barcelona.

The interesting Picasso museum is sited in the Carrer Montcada. Image of Harlequin.
The overhanging roofs contribute to give the street, surrounded by venerable stones, a shadowy atmosphere. From the large doors you can appreciate the small yards, in which there are gothic, rennaissancist, and even baroque styles.
In this noble settlement we can find the Textile museum (number 12) and the Picasso museum, which occupies three old mansions (numbers 15 to 19)
The Picasso museum is specially recommended, for its notable exposed artistic contents.
