It's worthwhile visiting the Ataranzas, the Triumph Arch, the Santa Creu Hospital and the Palau de la Música.
Las Ataranzas, shipyards with an active production since the 18th-century, are today a nice maritime museum. You'll see a reproduction of La Real, ship built here and guided by Juan de Austria, who prevailed in the famous battle of Lepanto.
The Triumph Arch, portico for the Universal Exposition in 1888, by Joseph Vilaseca i Casanovas, marvellous neomudejar-inspired construction.
The Santa Creu Hospital, begun by Lluis Doménech and ended by his son Pere. A building full of enchantment and colours, revolutionary for an early 20th-century hospital.
The Music Palace of Barcelona, Francesc de Paula Street, 2. By Doménech and Montaner; with a magnificent modernist interior.
