Museo del Prado

This museum is one of the most valuable of the world.

Sited in a building begun in 1785 by Juan de Villanueva it holds collections of the Kings of Spain, amplified with other acquisitions.

It has magnificent pieces from the romantic period onwards, special reference to Velázquez, El Greco, Zurbarán, Goya, Murillo, El Bosco, Boticelli, Fra Angelico, Caravaggio, Rubens, Tiziano, Rembrandt and others.

Master pieces such as El Jardín de las Delicias (El Bosco), La Anunciación (Fra Angélico), El Descendimiento (Van der Weyden), Las Majas (Goya), Las Tres Gracias (Rubens), Las Meninas (Velásquez) and so on, make it obligatory to visit this museum.

Immerse in this huge collection of paintings, a fine collection of statues almost passes unoticed.
